I have always had a deep connection to music. Some of that has to do with growing up around my mom. It’s insane how much she knows about music. Her knowledge brushed off onto me over the years. Always unintentionally teaching me things about music from infancy to the present. Maybe later on I’ll make a post just about her stories. The other half was all me though. I have spent years of my life exploring different artists, genres, and other aspects of music solely because I love it. Hours spent listening to songs and taking in the emotions they evoke. Days going by with music helping me get through some of the worst ones. It has fused to my soul. I truly don’t know who I would be without it.
Music is something I could talk about for hours and I have to anyone willing to listen. Even spoke to myself on occasion when I’ve talked the ear off of others. Call me crazy if you want, you might be right. The passion I have for music is what inspired me to create this blog. This is a place where anyone can read my (sometimes crazy) thoughts on different aspects of music even if that’s a bit terrifying to me. Now as a disclaimer, I am no music scholar nor do I proclaim any outstanding musical knowledge. I am just a person who has a tendency to observe and holds an unbelievable amount of love for music. So feel free to roam my page and discover my particular hum.
